Delivery & Returns
Smarty Schoolwear Ltd, offers the following two methods of supplying your goods once an online purchase has been processed.
1) Home Delivery
2) Click and Collect from the store.
Smarty Schoolwear Ltd aims to have all orders ready for dispatch or collection within 48hrs of the order being placed. If in the unlikely event an item(s) purchased is not in stock, an email will be sent to the customer with an estimated dispatch or collection date.
If the estimated dispatch/collection date is not acceptable to the customer, the item(s) can be cancelled via email and a full refund for those item(s) shall be provided.
In August/September, due to the high volume of orders, processing of orders may take 2-3days longer, however an email will be sent to the customer informing them of any delays.
The customer can log-in to their account on the website to see the status of their order.
1) Home Delivery
a) There shall be no delivery charge for orders of £50 or more (this is only applicable for Standard Delivery).
b) All deliveries require a signature upon receipt, please ensure that someone is available to accept your delivery.
c) This delivery policy does not effect your statutory rights as a customer.
d) Once the order is dispatched, an email will be sent to the customer.
e) Smarty Schoolwear Ltd. offer 2 types of delivery service.
Standard deliveries are made in 2-5days following 'Dispatch', unless advised otherwise.
Charges: UK mainland - £4.95 for orders under £50, FREE if order is £50 or more.
Next Day Delivery
All orders need to be placed before 12pm for 'Next Day Delivery'.
Anything ordered on during the weekend or on a Bank Holiday will be processed/dispatched the following working day.
Please note, Saturday and Sundays are NOT classed as working days by our delivery carriers, for this reason anything ordered on a Thursday afternoon or Friday morning will be delivered on the following Monday and anything ordered from Friday afternoon up until Monday morning will be delivered on the following Tuesday.
Charges: UK mainland - £10.00.
2) Click and Collect
This service is free of charge – no matter how many parcels you order.
Any orders placed on the weekend or on a Bank Holiday will be processed the following working day.
Once your order has been processed, we will contact you via email/phone to let you know that the order is now ready for collection.
In order to collect your order, please bring with you:
1.Your Order Number
2.Proof of ID (One of the following)
Credit/Debit card used to make the purchase
If someone is collecting an order on your behalf, they will still need to bring a proof of ID for the person who placed the order.
All documents and ID are to be the originals and not copies.
Your order will be held in store for 14 days, after which it will be returned to the warehouse if not collected and the cost of the product shall not be refunded.
Our return’s policy is a full refund on all purchases 14 days from the date of dispatch of the order. It is subject to the following conditions and does not affect your statutory rights.
1.The items are returned in their original packaging, with all labels and tags still attached.
2.The items have not been worn.
3.The items have not been washed or dry cleaned.
4.The items are in their original condition. (i.e. no cigarette smoke odours or animal hair).
The cost of postage and packaging for the returned items will be paid for by the customer. However, they can be returned in store without any additional charge.
In either case the returns section on the dispatch note must be included. This should be filled-in, in full to enable us to process your refund claim efficiently.
